First day packing
It's only when you wake up to the realisation that you are going to relocate permanently that you find that you have accumulated a shitload of random things around the house. Stressing about how I can bring back so much of my personal belongings is not fun at all. Alas, I shall call up shipping companies tomorrow to see how many arms and legs I will have to pay in order to send my stuff back. Singapore Airlines is charging $24 per excess kilo. Now, if that isn't daylight robbery, I don't know what is.
Spent half of the day playing warcraft III campaign and decided that I'm bored of the game. Spent another hour sorting out the living room into 1) discard 2) will pack 3) might pack. Four bags of rubbish stand at the side waiting for rubbish Tuesday when that bloody amazing automated truck collects our junk every week. Singapore should have this contraption. Then we won't need to hire so many foreign workers to take out our trash when we'll only need one driver.
House is dirty. Irks me. But I'm going to leave it. I'll need to clean it top to bottom in a weeks time anyway.
Packing is scary. I have too many shoes, too many clothes and mucho random stuff.
Worst of it all, I miss you already, bah. I din't think I would in the first day. Thought wrong. =(
